The Epic Proposal - She knew a long time ago but said YES today

Hello everyone welcome to our latest blog post and also the latest news! I, Sandeep Singh  proposed to my girlfriend Navneet. #itsawrap

I am not going to tell the story here because its too long and has too much history. But what I will say is that a painting was made for her so she could cherish the day forever and ever! I told Sabhi #mypainterincrime, "I'm going to make a painting" and as always he was very excited and couldn't wait for the end result. He seemed more excited than me! Even though the proposal itself was epic enough the painting I made for Navneet finished it off and sealed the deal. I can't just thank myself for creating this painting, I got help from a  friend at work who advised me to put #itsawrap somewhere in there so I did, I chose the bottom left corner. Sabhi was also with me during the painting process getting all the updates. I tend to say #itsawrap a lot hence why its in there. I didn't use the painting during the proposal process as it was too big to manage while proposing, it wouldn't have made sense. But what I did with the help of #mypainterincrime Sabhi was we chose to introduce the painting while we were having dinner with our friends and family after the proposal. Navneet had stepped away from the table for a bit and Sabhi and I quickly ran to my car, got the easel and the painting and set it up before Navneet returned. It was a pleasant surprise to her. And the painting stayed there the entire night on the easel representing the big day and will forever on wards. Now Navneet has the painting forever and I'm sure she'll think back to all the events that lead up that special moment when she said "yes"

Shining light at a painted diamond...not a lot of fun

Thanks to my friend at work for the inspiration of #ITSAWRAP 

Put my feet up needed a rest! Loving the light behind the diamond, it inspired us actually!

slowly filling in all the letters, still have to outline them with my Sharpie

TaDAaaaaaaa! The painting held it down and no comment on Navneet...she don't care for the painting.

Init's Baby Shower - Beautiful Setup

On Saturday November 16, 2013 we delivered another work of art for Init's Baby Shower! It all began when one of our friends from high school contacted us in late October notifying us to keep our brushes ready for his sisters Baby Shower in mid-November. We were delighted to hear the news as we had just painted and delivered #DamanWedsRav . #Mypainterincrime Sabhi consulted with our friend Karan to get a better understanding of exactly what was required for his sisters big day. Karan mentioned one very important aspect that was important to him, his sister Init and also their mother that needed to be included in the painting and we fulfilled their wishes! Enjoy the pics below as we take you on a journey from start to finish! Congrats to Init and also our friend Karan and his family!

Everything starts with pencil, getting the wheels right was a big thing!

Introducing our best friend the Sharpie! Check our "Grandma's Fav" it was a special request by Karan!

Outlining helps to bring out the painting and also the details!

We went for a soft background with stripes to ensure it doesn't overpower the foreground

We fulfilled the special request as Init's mother was the host of the baby shower we ensured she also had she special spot! Grandma's Fav!

A little about us! - How it all began!

We don't want to bore anyone out so we're gonna make this really quick (hopefully). Later on Sabhi Purba and I will make our own pages titled "about me" but for now we will go with the flow and keep it simple.

We both enjoy art, all forms of art, I have specific skills and Sabhi has specific skills and as artists we compliment each other very nicely. We don't want a war going on about who is better or worse or this or that, we keep it real. It all started when Sabhi and I met at a mutual friends engagement party and we started talking about art and how we still take the time out of our busy lives to make sure we do something creative with our skills. I had just finished doing 3 paintings for Neesha's Bridal Shower and since Neesha absolutely fell in love with them she asked for 2 more paintings for her wedding reception. Somehow god connected Sabhi and I at our friends party and we took it from there, we joined forces and now we create masterpieces together! Every piece we create is our work and we don't stop until we are satisfied. We literally want our art work to touch our clients hearts and that is what drives our creativity. The more projects we do the higher levels of creativity we will explore as we are always looking to create something different!

As artists it makes both of us very happy to be at the event to setup our art work and see how it fits in with everything else. Even though wedding art is where it all began we don't want to limit ourselves to just that one category. We are up for any challenge.
