Before we start we want to congratulate Sukhpreet and Amandeep as they will be celebrating the 1st birthday of their daughter Jeevna! It must be such an exciting time for the parents and family as Jeevna is the joy in all of their lives. Early congrats to the family from Everlasting!
It all started possibly early or mid December when Sukhpreet (Jeevna's mother) approached us wondering if we could paint a canvas for her daughters 1st birthday. Again we were super excited as always. She already had ideas in mind which made our life a lot easier and she mentioned to us that the canvas will be used in the background for her daughters CAKE SMASH photo shoot! Wooo! We can't wait to see how the pictures come out. It was funny because we had no idea what a cake smash was so we had to clarify with Sukhpreet what exactly is a cake smash. Practically it is very similar to when the bride goes out and ruins her wedding dress after her wedding. During a cake smash the cake practically gets smashed by the baby! It's just a fun way of celebrating! Sukhpreet wanted to keep Jeevna's canvas simple, make sure it was girly and also that it incorporated their last name Birdi! (hence the birds on the cupcakes icing) Jeevna's room also has a bird theme so we made sure Jeevna's painting would include that too! We absolutely loved working on this project knowing that in a few years Jeevna will also be appreciating our art work.
We also added a little pizzazz by using some sparkly rhinestones on the canvas! Check out the finished painting below. Jeevna will truly be able to travel back in time to her 1st birthday forever!
